Calm & Confident Dogs Program
About This Program
The Calm & Confident Dogs Group is a small, structured training group designed to help dogs build focus, confidence, and calm behaviour around other dogs and real-world distractions. This is not a play-based class. It is a calm, supportive environment where dogs learn to feel safe, settled, and connected to their guardian.
Entry Requirements
This group is designed for dogs who have already completed:
• Positive Pooch Solutions Puppy Group Program
• OR Positive Pooch Solutions Private Training Package
These dogs already have a foundation in calm behaviour, settling, and focus skills. This allows us to maintain a calm, structured environment where all dogs can continue to build confidence successfully.

How Sessions Are Structured
Sessions are run in a calm, controlled way with each dog working at their own level. Dogs are spaced apart and do not interact directly. We focus on calm behaviour in the presence of other dogs, not play. Each session includes: • Calm arrival and decompression • Mat settling work • Individual training while others remain settled • Rotation between movement and calm work • Ending on a positive, relaxed note
Benefits
• Build real confidence in everyday environments
• Improve focus around distractions
• Develop calm behaviour around other dogs
• Strengthen connection between dog and guardian
• Prepare for real-world situations and therapy pathways
Our Goal
To help your dog become calm, confident, and comfortable in the real world. We focus on how your dog feels, not just what they do.
